  1. How do I send a Text Message?
    For most digital phones:

    To Send:


    1. Select Messages.
    2. Select Send To or Send New.
    3. Enter email address or mobile number.
    4. Select Next.
    5. Enter your message, select Next.
    6. Select Options, and select Send.

    Helpful Text Entry Tips:

    When entering text, make sure you use the "alpha" (ABC or TAP) entry mode and not the "T9", "iTAP" or "WORD" entry mode. The "@" can be found under "sym" or "symbols". When entering numbers, make sure you use the "123" or "NUM" entry mode.

  2. How much does it cost to send a Text Message?
    It depends on whether you have a bundled text-messaging plan. If you don't have a text-messaging plan, it costs 20˘ per address for messages sent or received. International text messaging is 20˘ for messages received and 25˘ for messages sent. If you do have a bundled plan, the cost per message varies.

    Get It Now is a technology and service that allows you to download and use applications on your Verizon Wireless Get It Now-enabled phone. For example, you can quickly and easily download ringtones, games, emails, directions, instant messages and more to your phone and use them right on your handset. It is a new enhancement to wireless technology.

    You can add or change features through My Verizon. Follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to My Verizon.
    2. Go to My Plan, under the My Services tab.
    3. Select Add/remove features.
    4. Select the features you wish to add.

    To block unwanted text messages:

    1. Log-in to Text Messaging with your registered Verizon Wireless number.
    2. Once logged in, select Preferences, then choose Text Blocking from the menu on the left.
    3. Select the type of messages you want to block or enter the specific addresses you want to block, then click Save.

  6. What features do I have on My Verizon?
    To find out what features you have, follow these steps:

    1. Sign In to My Verizon.
    2. Go to My Plan.
    3. Select Add/change features.
    4. If you have more then one mobile number, select the one you want to see from the drop down.

    The next screen will list all of the included features on that phone number as well as how to add or change your current features.
