This seems to be marketed to the elderly with the ICE (In Case of Emergency) button. Well, ICE on a key is pretty silly - stupid acronyms - just put EMER or HELP or something. I got this to try out possibly for my elderly parents and also to see if they could hear me better (me talking into this cell phone to them on their land line). No improved outgoing voice quality or volume. Frustrating button use - I'm always slipping off the buttons and hitting send on a text before I was ready. And the phone can't be set to both ring and vibrate which is helpful in many settings. Is it the phone or Verizon - haven't figure it out yet - but it doesn't show me all my missed calls - seems like if pick show me all calls I would see answered, sent, missed AND those that go to voice mail. Overall, it has just not been a terribly pleasant phone. I was looking for basic, but I think if I want to stay with basic I'll go back to my old LG.
Pros:
lack of features (i.e. basic)
Cons:
designed for older people but not really user friendly for them
