The operating system is ridiculously slow (the screen doesn't update quickly). I hate having the 911 button in the middle of everything else; I'm constantly afraid I'll hit it by mistake.
Pros:
long battery life
Cons:
very few features; very slow/often freezes; keys difficult to use; often looks greasy; icons confusi

All the buttons are big and easy Except the arrows. Too easy to miss them or hit them at the wrong times. Nice ICE button. But could do without the 911 button. Would rather have a program-it-yourself button or another more commonly used button like alarm clock. High volume level is very fuzzy sounding. Had to lower vol in order to actually understand anyone. Rats. That was one of the things I bought the phone for. I'll be trading this one in much sooner than my other Samsung phones.
Pros:
nice big display good battery life big easy buttons
Cons:
arrow buttons not so good high vol level not so good

The buttons on the side which control the sound and whether the phone stays turned on or silent, are placed exactly where you hold the phone when you are talking on it. Mine gets turned off frequently by mistake. Then when I find that I have voicemails, I have to listen to the old voice mails that I have saved instead of the last one that was left. What I do like is the numbers on the screen are large enough to be seen. I don't like the fact that I cannot see the screen in the sunshine, too munch reflection. I would not buy this phone again, All I need is a phone. I don't use the ringtones, text, or listen to tunes. I need a phone that is exactly that, a PHONE. I hate the carrier that clips onto my purse that goes with my phone. It is so bulky and thick that you can't hear the phone ring when it is in the carrier. Bad choice on Verizon's part as a carrier for the phone. I am returning it for a credit on my bill.
Pros:
long battery life
Cons:
constantly gets turned off in error.
